Allow us to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you – Dahlia's, an authentic Mediterranean bistro. Dahlia's specializes in bringing you a true taste of the Mediterranean, combining the rustic cuisines of the region. Owner/operator Fadi Smaidi, brings you years of culinary knowledge and skills, combined with an unwavering commitment to quality, value and service. 

Dahlia's Mediterranean Bistro is a division of the Boustan Company, a Montréal-based Lebanese Restaurant that has become a landmark in that city. Boustan was started in 1986 by Imad Smaidi, a Lebanese immigrant to Canada, who has made it a lifetime commitment to bring Lebanese food to mainstream culture.

Fadi is the eldest son of Imad Smaidi and played a central role in the development of Boustan from a very young age. It was apparent to Fadi early on that his passion was to continue in the restaurant business.  After gaining experience in different genres of restaurants, he decided to focus his studies in Restaurant and Hotel Management. 

Fadi Smaidi moved to Edmonton, Alberta with his wife and daughter, Dahlia, in 2008 and opened Dahlia's in May 2009.
